My Story

I confess I love to dabble. Many times, I'll watch a process and think, "Hey, that looks pretty cool. I think I'd like to give it a go." Sometimes I stick with it, more often than not, I don't, but it was fun to try it out.

I enjoy painting, especially watercolor (by far my strong suit), though I also work with acrylic and torn paper collages. Photography is fun; usually I play with filters and transparencies, layering them to produce an almost painterly effect, just to say I got my hand in it.

My bread and butter is definitely jewelry - primarily statement pieces. Chainmaille and beadwork are my go-tos, as well as very simple wire wrapping. Stone Crow Jewelry has been my main creative endeavor since 2013 and I still thoroughly enjoy it.

My newest endeavor is upcycling plastic shopping bags into rugs and totes. This is a labor of love: most of the proceeds are donated to local charities, while less plastic end up in landfills or oceans.
